The Sales Department provides technical services for service station, commercial or industrial installation and fuel storage matters.   

Three grades of gasoline are produced by our Refinery.  The 87, 89, and 91 octane meet the specifications put forth by auto manufacturers and the Federal Government.  Road diesel and high sulfur industrial No. 2 fuel are produced by straight run production from the crude tower.  The cetane, sulfur, and other properties of the road fuel make it a higher mileage and easier starting fuel than others.  Heavy fuels No. 4, 5, and 6 are produced, some of which require certification of less than 0.5% sulfur for EPA certification.    

In addition to our own Somerset Oil full service gas stations, we distribute our refinery products to eleven states.  Our home heating and farm fuel operation delivers tank (wagon) loads of gasoline, kerosene and #2 fuel to farm and home.
