Our corporate office is located at 600 Monticello Street, Somerset, Kentucky 42501. The main office building has two floors and is home for twenty-three employees working in company administration, bookkeeping, credit department, wholesale and commercial accounts and reception.  Adjacent to the main office is the environmental office building which houses Somerset Environmental Company personnel.

A separate piece of property, about 80 acres in size, which lies about 1/4 mile to the east of the main office complex holds the 5500 barrel-per-day refinery facility. 

In addition,  our corporate office is responsible for full refinery operations integration. The South Kentucky Purchasing Company buys crude oil for refinery processing to produce three grades of gasoline (87, 89, and 91 octane), kerosene, diesel, no. 2 fuel oil, and heavier commercial fuels like no. 4, no. 5, and no. 6 oil. The corporate office then coordinates with our Transportation and Sales office to provide these products to our customers.

Our corporate team continuously searches for better ways and methods to improve The Somerset Refinery, Inc.  We have expanded our purchasing of crude oil to include wells in Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia.  Our ability to provide consumer products to business in those states at competitive prices has allowed the Somerset Refinery, Inc. to recently enjoy its 40th year of operation.  We applaud our customers and sincerely thank you for your support.
